³⁵ Then he sat down, summoned the Twelve, and said to them, “If anyone wishes to be first, he must become the last of all and the servant of all.” ³⁶ He then took a child, placed it in their midst, and put his arms around it as he said, ³⁷ “Whoever receives one such child in my name receives me; and whoever receives me receives not me but the one who sent me.”
